Because if we don’t, who will!

The story behind each of these photos is deeper than it may appear.

Each photo has a story behind its capture. These are a few of my favorites right now.

“Clock on the Top” was the last photo I took at ECU as an employee. This day was scary as I embarked on my current journey. After 6.5 years in Greenville, I had seen growth, struggle, and prosperity in my life and the life of ECU. To leave the familiar for the unknown is something we all do, but no one tells us how scary it can be.

This photo was from the first time I used a “real” camera. I wanted to capture as much of the gameday experience. This photo is a good example of the calm before the storm of a full tailgate lot and full stadium

“Watchful Eye”

This photo was taken because a football game was canceled during a pandemic. Talked to a park ranger on duty and walked the mall with my girlfriend. There is a silhouette to the left, it’s the ranger leaning on the pillar. Park Rangers and Capitol Police are the backbones of continued safety in the nation’s capital.

This photo was taken at my hometown airport. I always wanted to fly out of this airport but they don’t have commercial service. This plane has been sitting in the grass just beyond a runway for a while. The Town of Long View’s water tower is in the background staking their claim to the airport and stadium area of Hickory, NC.
